All estates of France convened within an indoor tennis court, as the King attempted to stop the National assembly by closing their meeting place. Here in the tennis court they created a constitution for France.
When the citizens attacked the Bastille in August of 1789, they not only stole the massive amounts of gunpowder there, but they also destroyed a prison used to capture those who spoke out against the king.
The feudal system required citizens to pay the government and give up important resources. This was accepted, granting citizens the right to their land and animals again.

The citizens storm the palace of Versailles, forcing the King and Queen to evacuate to Paris, and sign the Constitution that the citizens previously agreed on.
