  • EXPOSITION
  • CONFLICT
  • RISING ACTION
  • Hera the goddess of marriage got engaged to her brother Zeus, God of sky and ruler of Olympian gods. Hera was a really jealous wife because Zeus kept cheating on her. Zeus had a lot of mistresses and Hera always got revenge on them.
  • CLIMAX
  • Zeus cheated on Hera with Io the princess of Agons. He covered the sky with dark clouds when he was with Io so Hera wouldn't notice anything. But she did and when she started to disappear those clouds, without thinking Zeus turned Io into a white cow.
  • FALLING ACTION
  • When Zeus turned Io into a cow Hera already knew it was her. That was when she thought of an idea for revenge. She told Zeus if she can have that cow/Io and he had no choice but to say yes.
  • RESOLUTION
  • Hera wanted to get revenge on Zeus so she sent Io/cow to Argus, a 100 eyed monster. She sent the cow to him so he could watch Io closely so she wouldn't run away. The reason why she sent Io to Argus is because he had 100 eyes so he can watch Io every minute.
  • Zeus got really mad at Hera. So he sent Hermes messenger of Olympian gods, to kill the 100 eyed monster and save Io. This was one of the most strongest actions Hermes had to do.
  • Hermes went to Argus's layer and started to play his peaceful flute so Argus can fall asleep. It took a long time to make Argus go to sleep but he succeeded. Then when he had the chance he took his soard and killed Argus. Then Hermes saved Io.
