Storyboard Text

  • Follow me and I will explain the reasons of Caesar's death
  • We want answers! We want explanations
  • Act 3 scene 2
  • I know Caesar was your friend and he was also mine. I killed Caesar, not that i loved him less, but that I loved Rome more. Would you rather have caesar alive and and everybody in Rome dies? Or would you rather have him dead and everybody in Rome free? Because Caesar loved me, I cry for him. But he was selfish and I killed him. If there is anyone, speak, for I have offended him.
  • Here comes Caesar's body, mourned by Mark Antony. He took no part in his death and shall beniefit from his dying with a position in our society, as all of you shall. Just as I killed my bestfriend for the sake of Rome, I have the same danger for when you want my death
  • Stay here with Mark and listen to him speak
  • The Pleabians want explanations behind the death of Caesar. Brutus tells them to come and listen to what he has to say
  • I think Caesar has been greatly wronged
  • Brutus told you that Caesar was ambitious. If he was then it was a serious fault and Caesar has suffered from it. Ceasar was my friend, faithful and just to me. But Brutus says he was ambitious and Brutus is an honorable man. Caesar brought prisinors back to Rome. Did this seem ambitious of him? When the poor have cried, Caesar has wept in sympathy. Caesar turned down the crown three times. Was this ambition? Yet Brutus says he was ambitious and Brutus is an honorable man. My heart is in the coffin with Caesar. I must pause untill it returns to me.
  • Brutus makes speech to the crowd explaining why he killed Caesar
  • Read the will Mark Antony!
  • If I wanted to stir your hearts and minds to riots, I would be doing Brutus and Cassius wrong. But they are honorable men. I have Caesar's will and if the people were to hear the will, which I don't intend to read, then you would love Caesar.
  • We want to hear the will!
  • Mark enters with Caesar's body and Brutus tells Mark to speak on behalf of Caesar
  • Read the will!! You must read the will
  • Have patience, I must not read the will. It's better that you don't know how much Caesar loved you. It will make you angry.
  • I will read the will. everyone circle his corpse. I will come down and read it
  • The will!!
  • won't you be patient? I wasn't even supposed to mention it
  • Brutus leaves and lets mark speak to the crowd. He is trying to win the crowd.
  • Antony uses reverse psychology to get the crowd to want to hear the crowd
  • Antony makes them beg for the will.
