  • Beryllium is the fourth element on the periodic table and it has a chemical symbol of "Be"
  • It was isolated in 1797 by Louis-Nicholas Vauquelin, a French chemist, who found it in a gemstone called beryl.
  • Beryllium is a nonmagnetic metal and it is used in things like aircrafts, spacecrafts, and missiles.
  • Beryllium forms non-polar covalent bonds and it has 2 valence electrons and it holds the other two electrons in it’s inner electron cloud
  • Beryllium, it’s radioactive and it tastes great… But seriously, don’t breathe it if you want to live.
