  • "Boy, you're cool, know that?"
  • Do I dare disturb the universe?
  • Jerry is on the bus and an older boy compliments him. Jerry has never been noticed by people so the chocolate sale has given him a new reputation. It has given him more confidence to change his actions and try new things.
  • "It's a free country."
  • In this scene, Goober tells Jerry that he wanted to quit football because the school is rotten, and Jerry tells Goober that he is not going to sell the chocolates. Goober tells Jerry to sell chocolate while Jerry tells Goober to play football.
  • Jerry arrives at his locker to find that his sneakers have been ruined and more importantly his poster is ruined as well.

  • During roll call, Darcy asks Jerry why he isn't participating in the chocolate sale. His answer is that it's a free country and that he doesn't have to sell if he doesn't want to.
  • Emile gets a bunch of guys to beat up Jerry because he doesn't sell the chocolates. He vomits so they stop.
  • Jerry is trying to sleep but the boys from school are still harassing him. They are calling his phone and screaming his name outside his window. He is scared that his father will hear them and just wants to sleep.
