Storyboard Text

  • Yes Sir, General Houston!
  • Today we will ride into the Mexican camp, and capture Santa Anna. Are y'all with me?
  • For the Alamo!
  • We have you surrounded Santa Anna, prepare to surrender.
  • On April 21, 1836 Sam Houston and his troupes surprise attacked the Mexican Forces led by Santa Anna near the San Jacinto river.
  • You are our prisoners now!
  • They're going to kill us!
  • Before they attacked General Houston told them to shout "For the Alamo" when they attacked.
  • In that case!
  • I'll do anything for my freedom
  • The Texans captured Santa Anna after the surprise attack.
  • And so am I
  • Yay!
  • Texas is Free!
  • The Texans also captured all of the soldiers by Santa Anna. Which were surprisingly set free.
  • Santa Anna proclaimed that he would do anything for his freedom. Which gave General Houston an idea.
  • Santa Anna exchanged his freedom for Texas's freedom. On that glorious day the Texas Revolution ended and we gained independence from Mexico.
