Storyboard Text

  • John, is that you?
  • Yes, Jack. It is me. How have things been here?
  • Other than our mother's passing, things have stayed the same. We still produce cabbage and corn like we're used to doing.
  • Maybe your product is the same, but are there any changes to the way you produce things?
  • No. We still farm by hand, and our family is still the only owner of the farm. We are also the only consumers of our products. However, sometimes, we trade with neighbors to acquire necessary resources.
  • I'm glad you're so satisfied with your lifestyle.
  • And how has your life been? I'm sure living in the city must be different from life in the village.
  • Well, I also own a farm, but it is a large corporation. We produce whatever food is in demand, and I chose to use the latest technology to do so. Anyone who can afford our prices is able to buy our products, if they choose to do so.
  • So why aren't you at work supporting your company?
  • As the owner of the company, I can hire others who I pay to do to work instead. It's one of the many advantages of starting a successful business.
  • Your lifestyle is clearly very different from mine, although we both own farms.
  • Yes, Jack. It was good to see you. I will return every now and then to make sure your farm is okay, but for now, I must say goodbye.
