Hello. Je m'appelle Marie Curie. I am a French and Polish chemist that conducted chemistry research in the late 1800's. Welcome to my lab.
My husband and I worked together studying radioactivity in Poland. We both recieved a Nobel Prize in Physics in 1903. In the early 1900's, after many years of studying radioactive elements, we discovered two new elements to the science world.......
RADIUM AND POLONIUM!!
Today, Radium is a vital element in radon gas; a treatment for certain types of cancer, as well as being a part of x rays. Polonium is commonly used in satellites as well due to its atomic heat source. Key things for today's day!
I'm so happy to have been apart of this vital chemistry. Unfortunately, I have to leave, but always remember...
