  • Scene 1 I will start the video with an explanation of P4A. The camera will be in front and focusing on me. The scene will last for around half a minute.
  • Hi guys, I am here to tell you about P4A and my chosen charity.
  • Scene 2 Then I will explain about my charity. The WWF's logo will popp out on the screen which means that I will not be in the picture anymore. The scene will last for ca 30 sec. I will also start describing facts and statistics.
  • "The charity I have chosen is World Wildlife fund (WWF). WWF work for a lot of things, but I have chosen to focus on the deforestation and the biggest rainforest in the world, Amazon. "

  • Scene 3 Here I will continue with facts and statistics. My voice will be in the background. The scene will show pictures of deforestation. The scene will last for around 1 min.
  • "Nearly half of the world's species of plants, animals and microorganisms will be destroyed or severely threatened over the next quarter century due to rainforest deforestation." These species will die if humans continue to destruct the forest in the tempo we are today. "The Amazon Rainforest has been described as the "Lungs of our Planet" because it provides the essential environmental world service of continuously recycling carbon dioxide into oxygen. More than 20 percent of the world oxygen is produced in the Amazon Rainforest." "Currently, 121 prescription drugs currently sold worldwide come from plant-derived sources. And while 25% of Western pharmaceuticals are derived from rainforest ingredients, less than 1% of these tropical trees and plants have been tested by scientists." "The U.S. National Cancer Institute has identified 3000 plants that are active against cancer cells. 70% of these plants are found in the rainforest. Twenty-five percent of the active ingredients in today's cancer-fighting drugs come from organisms found only in the rainforest."
  • "John and Hank Green, better known as the “vlogBrothers” on Youtube, created project for Awesome. The purpose of this is to have YouTubers create a video promoting for their chosen charity to “decrease world sucks” and for their charity to gain more awareness and donations."
  • Scene 4 Further on I will tell the audience about the consequences of deforestation. I will change the picture to focus on me. This will take around 30 sec.

  • Scene 5 This scene will continue from the 4th one. I will have finished talking and will only show pictures and video. These pictures will be shown for ca 30 sec.
  • "The Amazon represents over half of the planet's remaining rainforests, and comprises the largest and most biodiverse tract of tropical rainforest in the world, with an estimated 390 billion individual trees divided into 16,000 species."
  • Scene 6 The last scene will contain the clear call to action. I will explain carefully how the audience can help. The video will show the WWF website and links . This scene will last for 30 sec.
  • "The consequences of deforestation are many, e.g. global warming and extinction of many animal species. These problems will also lead to other problems: Global warming will also lead to other problems like the rise of water levels in the oceans."
  • " To help WWF with their work you can sign a petition or contract an official. Or you can donate. You can even adopt animals. Thank you for watching".
