Paul, you always smile, its like you're up to something.
Paul was suspended from school, but he met with the teachers, and he returned to class. The teachers are quick to judge Paul, because of how he acts and the way he dresses. This is a main contributor to how Paul is oppressed in his life, because everyone quickly judges him.
Paul works at Carnegie Hall where he is an usher. He gets to listen to the musicians. This is the only time he feels at peace. He is calm and enjoys himself while there.
Paul steals $1,000 from Carnegie Hall and uses it to escape his home and his oppressive father. He flees to New York to stay there and live in peace. His da finds out about him stealing. When he gets back home he throws himself in front of a train, killing himself. He does this because he does not want to face his oppressive father and plain and boring life.
