One day, in 1796, John Adams and Thomas Jefferson were debating on a subject that came to their attention.
All this party violence, it's useless!
But we must work together to keep the country safe and give them what they need and want.
But with all of the French men coming in and out of America, what could we do? For all we know they could be spies from French or other countries .
John Adams and Thomas Jefferson were brain storming some ideas that could help keep the saftey of the United States.
So we must create an act for the time being, to keep the french out and other people whom we might consider a spy!
John Adam then took Thomas Jefferson's idea into some consideration. They worked all day to revise and edit the act they were about to place.
Good thinking now we must put that on paper, revise, and edit the idea!
Yes sir, right away! This will help America solve it's problems.
