  • Starting scene
  • Fruit and vegetables scene
  • Carbohydrates scene
  • This is the Eatwell Plate. In this short animation we're going to go through each part of the eatwell plate and explain why it is healthy and good for you.
  • Meat and Fish scene
  • This is the fruit and vegetable section. You need to aim for at least 5 portions a day. The main nutrients they contain are Carotene, Vitamin C, Folates and Fibre.
  • Sugary foods and drinks scene
  • This is the Carbohydrate section. You need to eat plenty of foods rich in starch and fibre. The main nutrients they contain are Carbohydrate, some Calcium and Iron, Vitamin B and Fibre.
  • Dairy scene
  • This is the meat, fish and alternatives section. You need to eat these to help the body grow and keep healthy. The main nutrients they contain are Iron, Protein, B Vitamins, Zinc, Magnesium.
  • This is the sugary foods and drinks section. Don't eat too many foods that contain a lot of fat. Don't have sugary foods and drinks too often. Sugary foods and drinks don't contain any nutrients.
  • This is the dairy section. They help teeth and bones to grow strong and stay healthy. The main nutrients are Calcium, Protein, Vitamin B12 and Vitamins A & D.
