Elephant tusks are worth a lot of money and is causing elephants to become extremely endangered. Narrator: Poachers kill elephants at a very high rate because they take their ivory tusks and sell them for thousands of dollars each pair.
Poachers killed more than 10,000 African elephants last year. Narrator: A poacher approaches an elephant.
The poachers hunt elephants illegally and kill them only for their ivory tusks Narrator: The poacher approaches the dead elephant, eager for the tusks he will later sell for a lot of money.
