This storyboard does not have a description.
Brady is a dynamic character. Carl is a static character. Brady role in the story is to make the right decision by telling on his friends or not telling on them. Carl's role is to kind of support Brady and his choice. Brady changes a lot he learns how to tell the truth. Carl doesn't change.
A major theme in the story was when Ben and his mom went out on their red kayak. This is major because this makes the red a kayak what it is. Also because Brady changes after he saves Ben from drowning. Another reason is because after this Brady has to choose between doing the right thing and his friends. The theme is important to life because life can be just like this and it can happen to anyone.
I give the Red Kayak 2 stars because Brady should have gotten punished too. Also because it was just a bunch of boring drama about making the right decision. I didn't like it because it should have talked more from Brady's friends perspective. You read this book if you want a story with more action.
