  • Victor lays alone in his boat floating in the sea after tossing the body parts of the second monster.
  • Nature acts as a soothing, healing force.
  • "The sky became clouded; but the air was pure, although chilled by the north-east breeze that was then rising."
  • "I fear that this place is very shocking to you; can I do anything to make you feel more comfortable?"
  • GET ME OUT OF HERE NOW!
  • Victor gets locked in a cell for being accused of murder and it actually causes him to go crazy and lose control.
  • "I found that these people possessed a method of communicating their experiences and feelings to one another by articulate sounds."
  • WHAT'S HAPPENING?
  • The monster observes the DeLacey family and watches their every move.
  • Victor had the knowledge to create the monster and make the next big thing but it all fired back on him and became a disaster.
  • Too much knowledge, urged on by the desire for fame, has bad consequences."
  • "The innocent and helpless creature bestowed on them by heaven, whom to bring up to good, and whose future is directed towards happiness or misery."
  • The monster had the desire to confront the DeLacey family and ask for a chance but he was attacked by Felix.
  • A fiendish rage animated him as he said this; his face was wrinkled into contortions too horrible for human eyes to behold; but presently he claimed himself and proceeded."

  • "I was engaged in the same manner and had created a fiend whose unparalleled barbarity had desolated my heart and filled it with the bitterest remorse."

  • Victor feels threatened by the monster and starts to create a new monster because he is scared that the monster will hurt him.
