Tyler's Near Suicide
The Locker Room
This scene is arguably the most important one throughout the whole novel. This is when Tyler steals his dads gun and is thinking about taking his own life by suicide.
The party is where Tyler Miller is accused of taking naked pictures of Bethany Milbury. This plays a huge role in Tyler's life for the next few weeks because of the meetings and questions he's being asked by the police. Even though Tyler knew he didn't take the picture, this took a big tole in his life.
The locker room scene is where Tyler really finds himself and sticks up for him. This is where Tyler sticks up for himself, flattens Parker and Challenges Chip Milbury. This had a big turn on Tyler's life.
The Basement scene is where Tyler finally sticks up for himself against his dad. After all the problems and his not so solid life leading up to this, Tyler and his father argue and ultimately leads to a broken train set.
The Landscaping scene is where Tyler gets his first job. He is very happy about this for two reasons. The first reason being he's getting money and community service and secondly he will get in better shape while working.
At the batting cages is where Tyler's best friend tells him to visualize the people that he hates to be the baseball and he hits the ball every time showing him dealing with problems.
