Boarding the ship
Throwing the tea over
Just the tea men remember we are not to damage anything else, we're just after the tea.
The red coats started coming
The people got dressed up like Indians. They goal was to destroy the tea nothing else. Then, to make themselves look more like Indians they went to the blacksmith to put coal dust all over there faces. Then put red paint over it like the Indians did. Finally, after they we all ready , and they left to get on the ship.
They rode over to the Dartmouth on little ships. When they all got on the ship Samuel Adams made sure that everyone knew to only destroy the tea and nothing else. They then started throwing all 340 crates of tea over the side of the ship. It took a lot of men and a lot of muscle because all the creates together weighed over 92,000 pounds.
As they were throwing the last few crates over someone yelled, "The red coats are coming!" Everyone ran off the Dartmouth as fast as they could. If they didn't get off quick enough and they were caught they would have gotten thrown in jail for committing a crime. Surprising everyone got off, but the British were still highly angry.
