Let me drive us home. I'm so nervous Gatsby.
Oh, my Ga-od! Oh, my Ga-od!
What happened? — that’s what I want to know.
You’d better come home and get some sleep
I want to wait here till Daisy goes to bed. Good night, old sport.
Tom sends Daisy and Jay Gatsby home ahead of the rest of them. Daisy drives because she thinks it will calm her nerves.
As Daisy is driving home, Myrtle comes running into the road screaming for help because her husband was trying to hurt her. Daisy does not stop the car, so they end up hitting Myrtle and killing her. They flee the scene before Tom, Nick, and Jordan arrive.
Nick returns to the Buchanan's only to find Gatsby hiding outside in the trees. They talk a while because Gatsby is worried about Daisy and Tom together.
