What happens when it does come up for consideration?
Each legislator gets a few minutes to voice their oppinion!
How do they decide whether to vote for it or not?
The senate and the House of Representatives take a vote on the bill.
Afterwords, The Speaker of the House and the President of the Senate sign the bill.
The bill is then sent to the president where hge can sign, veto, or ignore it.
If the presidednt signs the bill then the bill becomes a law.
