Storyboard Text

  • We rejoin Freddie and Henry in the middle of a run. For the first time, Freddie is keeping up.
  • Freddie's Grandpa went home last week, but mum was still cooking his healthy meals, and she was getting pretty good at making them taste good too!
  • Hey mum! What's for dinner?
  • It's something your Grandpa taught me!
  • Freddie made his own lunch for school this morning. He thought it was better that way then he wasn't tempted by all the snacky food he could buy in town. Grandpa also got him to try lots of fruit and veg - most of them were quite tasty!
  • The whole school was buzzing for the football tournament this week. Freddie thought he might get to play - the first years had a team too. But there was one problem. Aaron was team captain.
  • Hey Aaron, I heard you need another player for the football game this week. Can I play?
  • Seriously Aaron, he's been practising really hard. He's actually pretty good now.
  • Fine. Maybe I'll let you sit on the bench.
  • HAH. You?? No way.
  • The score stood at 1-1 with five minutes to go! Aaron was running for goal when suddenly another player tackled him to the ground. He could not continue playing. Henry argued with the coach so that Freddie could play. Hopefully he wouldn't let them down!
  • No Sir, please, let Freddie play!
  • Right... Ben! Warm up, you're on.
  • Okay. Freddie, he has faith in you - don't let us down.
  • All of a sudden, Freddie had the ball at his feet, it was just him and the goalie! He took a shot - AND HE SCORED!
