  • Tired of the social inequality and poor leadership, the National Assembly took the Tennis Court Oath and wrote the Declaration of the Rights of Man and the Citizen.
  • Haiti: Method
  • The French Revolution allowed for the abolition of the Monarchy. Additionally, many were killed at the hands of the Guillotine, including King Louis XVI.
  • Haiti: Change
  • This shows the slaves of Haiti being forced to work in the fields; the slaves wanted their freedom.
  • Initially, the people of color petitioned for their equality and rights.
  • The colored people of Haiti were granted their freedom with Toussaint L'Ouverture as the leader.
