Democracy was used the most in the 19th and 20th centuries
democracy was first used in Ancient Athens circa in 508 BC
Democracy was invented so that people would have a say in the rules and regulations.
The difference between direct and representative democracy is a direct democracy is when the citizens vote for things including voting for president, voting for mayor, voting for if we should or should not watch a video in class and a representative democracy is when you elect someone to vote and speak your opinion for you.
