  • Will I ever get to see Lenore?
  • The narrator was sitting in his room at midnight while reading a book and grieving over a dead person named Lenore.Then, all the sudden, he gets startled by the tapping on the door.
  • Climax
  • Nevermore.
  • After the tapping ends, a raven comes flying in.The raven, coming out of nowhere, surprises the narrator.
  • Falling Action
  • As if that's ever going to happen.
  • Shoo!Shoo! Go Away!
  • Finally after being amused to see the bird, the narrator makes conversation with the bird and asks it a question and get the answer he doesn't want to hear.
  • Resolution/Denoument
  • We'll be BFF's.
  • He's never going to leave is, he? Great! More crippling depression!
  • After listening to the raven's answer, which the narrator dislikes, he tells it to leave.
  • Hey!No reason to be angry with me.
  • No matter how hard he tries, the bird doesn't think about leaving.
  • The narrator realizes that the bird isn't going to leave and gets emotionally damaged.
