Before doing anything the first thing that needs to happen before being mummified, is being dead
Egyptians learned how to keep a dead body well protected, they wanted to keep it from fading.
They had to take him across the Nile to meet the priest. They had to fill the body with Natron salt.
The process took 70 days to be completed. The first step is to cut open the Pharaoh, so that all of the organs are out. The heart was the seat of thought and wisdom.
Each Jar represented a god. It was believed it would protect the organs from spoiling.
