  • People with Glossophobia fear failure. They tend to want complete approval of things and have low self-esteems.
  • Sometimes, childhood experiences that one finds traumatizing could cause Glossophobia. People tend to avoid speaking in public to the point where it causes anxiety. Sometimes, things just need to be perfect for them.
  • Some symptoms would be an increased heart rate with a weak or quivering voice. Physical distress and feelings of panic are also present. Intense anxiety prior to speaking publicly could also experienced. 
  • People with Glossophobia tend to avoid speaking in public as much as they can. When it comes down to it, feelings of nausea and sweating can occur.
  • Treatment for Glossophobia could either be counseling, therapies, or training courses in public speaking.
