  • The narrator reviles his plan to get money, kidnap the kid and make the dad pay for him back. But while they have the kid he is a pain. He likes playing Indian and they have to call him Red chief.
  • Exposistion/Beggining
  • The kid is a pain. He doesn't stop bugging Sam(narrator) and Bill and keep them up at night. The Kid seems like he's trying to kill them but he's just playing the game. This is the most exiting part.
  • What did the protagonist(s) learn?
  • Sam and Bill continue to work on their plan, they make the letter to the kids Dad Ebenezor. Sam goes to send the letter to the kids Dad.
  • Resolution/Conclusin
  • The narrator introduces himself, and Bill. Then he soon introduces the setting and the kid. He also introduces that they are in a old town.
  • the protagonist learned that crime doesn't always pay. They ended up having to pay Ebeneezer instead of Ebeneezer paying them.
  • Sam sends the letter but the kids dad says that they have to pay him to take the kid instead of the Dad paying them. The kid is returned, Sam and Bill leeave town.
