Because I could not stop for death
This storyboard does not have a description.
Paraphrase- She's on a carriage ride with a person through a town which then they watch daily activities. Which then at the end they stop and get a white dress for her, which then the end up a grave yard.
Connotation- imagery of town life, the Grim Reaper and her riding throughout the town/life - the idea of her riding through life, watching it pass as she goes by- Her in a white wedding dress Symbolism-man with carriage is death and the Grim Reaper.
Attitude- The woman is going through life in a monotone manner- she seems lonely and secluded. Also seems to not want to stop for anything in life, including death.
Shift- The change occurs on line 13 when she says that they only stopped for her gown, which creates a darker more personal effect since Dickson always wore white. Then at the end it gets spookier with the grave yard.
Title- I predicted the meaning completely wrong the first time. But now I understand that it means that just because she cannot stop for death it doesn't mean life will stop for her.
Life is in a never ending cycle
