Storyboard Text

  • Mackensie ran frantically through out the carnival. The clown was trailing behind her, only a few yards away. She ran faster, and tears began to race down her cheeks. The clown began to groan as if he were getting angry that she wouldn't stop for him. He grew furious and was soon only a few feet away.
  • "Somebody help me, please!"
  • Mackensie looked back a second time, and saw the clown closer than he had been before. She screamed. As soon as she looked forward, she tripped on a rock that was on the dirt ground. She fumbled to get to her feet as she saw the clown approaching her at a very frightening speed. She got on her feet and kept running. The clown growled, and it sounded so inhumane that chills formed all over Mackensie's body. She took an unexpected turn and leaped into one of the colored tents.
  • "Grrrrrrr...."
  • "Agh! Get away from me!"
  • Now, all Mackensie could hear was the sound of her heavy breathing and machines making soft noises in the tent. She looked around to see where she was. The lights from the rides outside it up the tent, so she could see pretty well. There was a red, old fashioned kettle corn machine in the corner that was overflowing with sweet popcorn. In the center of the tent on the dirt floor was what looked like a soft-serve ice cream machine. Inside, she could see the ice cream churning itself through one of the little windows. Then she heard someone dragging their feet outside and saw a tall silhouette on one side of the tent. It was the clown.
  • Mackensie held her breath. She covered her mouth to keep from screaming. Cautiously, Mackensie moved to the darkest corner of the tent. A tear rolled down her cheek. He had found her again. She watched the silhouette walk around the tent, and out of fear, she gently bumped the kettle corn machine. The silhouette stopped, and the clown's head turned as if it were looking inside the tent. Mackensie's eyes grew wide and her heart was racing a mile a minute. She shut her eyes, hoping this was all just a dream. When she opened them, the silhouette was gone. She looked around the tent, and then he jumped! She was eye to eye with the clown. Soon, he had her in a giant brown sack. He was kidnapping her.
  • "Noooooo! Agh!"
  • The clown was smiling obviously proud of himself. He was dragging the bag across the dirt while Mackensie struggled. He brought her to the biggest tent in the whole carnival. It had red and white stripes and had a giant space set up for an audience and a stage. He took her behind the stage to what seemed like a dress room. He dropped the bag. Mackensie crawled out slowly. she was shaking and wouldn't look up. The clown picked her chin up and forced her to look at a dress that was hanging on the wall. He grunted. She looked at him, her face stained with dirt and tears. She stood up slowly, and faced him. She was too scared to move. She listened to his heavy breathing, and the sweet yet childish music of the carnival in the background.
  • Mackensie accepted reality. More tears ran down her cheeks as she walked toward the ugly dress. She was stiff, unsure what to do. She realized the dress matched the clown's outfit. Hesitantly, Mackensie went behind a screen to change. She walked back in front of the clown and he had a huge grin. She chose to obey the psycho. There was no point in fighting anymore. Mackensie focused on the music playing from outside that she heard when she first got to the carnival. She walked out on to the empty stage with the clown. He was holding her hand when he whispered in her ear, "Me... You... Stay... Forever."
  • "You... Me... Stay.. Forever."
