I get on my knees sobbing for my life. "Please don't hurt me! Please!" I mutter. "Help! Someone help me!" There was no point to ask for help in the middle of the woods but it let me calm down.
I try to think of a way to run home and get out of the situation. I immediately grab my purse and hurl it at the wolf. I scream and close my eyes to block my view.
My purse hits the creature right in the chest. I watch it slowly collapse to the cold ground. Its eyes roll out of its head as it plops unconscious of the floor.
I get up and nervously make my at back onto the trail. I scurry to get home and watch as the night sky gets darker by the minute.
I finally escape from the woods and lighten my pace. I wonder how something so unnatural could be living in such an ordinary place.
I swing the door open and find my mom on the front steps. I dart toward her and give her an immense hug. "Where have you been? my mom questions. My only answer, "I don't know."
