  • I di'n't forget, you be, God damn. Hide in the brush an' wait for George.
  • *Lennie ran away after he killed curly's wife. *He ran to the brush just like George told him too if he ever got into trouble.
  • Chapter 6 Putting him down
  • I tried, Aunt Clara, ma'am. I tried and I tried. I couldn't help it.
  • I tol' you and tol' you, 'Min' George because he's such a nice fella an' good to you.' But you don't never take no care. You do bad things.
  • *Lennie's aunt Clara appeared out of no where and started talking to Lennie in his own voice.
  • *Lennie then imagined a giant rabbit speaking to him in his voice.
  • Tend rabbits. You crazy bastard. You ain't fit to lick the boots of no rabbits. You'd forget 'em and let 'em go hungry. That's what you'd do. An' then what would George think?
  • THE END
  • *George found Lennie and tells him that he isn't mad at him *George tells Lennie to look out on the creek and imagine the farm they were going to have.
  • *Heorge knows what would happen to Lennie if he let Curly get his hands on him. *So instead of Lennie suffering for what he had done George shoots Lennie in the back of the head as he is looking out over the creek.
  • *Slim comes up to George and tells George that he is going to take him into town and get him a drink.
