Belonging; one of the most unbearable thoughts to enter the mind of an everyday teenager. Regardless of whether we have or lack it, belonging is questioned. You see, we teenagers never seem to trust belonging, we don't trust the fact that this sense of belonging is pure, and we furthermore fear life without it. Belonging is something which is craved, without it we are thought of as abnormal, and our society essentially frowns upon the thought of being welcoming these days, which is quite unfortunate.
Though belonging has become such a superficial thing, we equate belonging with our level of value, worth and significance, and there are many contributing factors.
