Look at our little Pablo. Born on October 25, 1881 in the beautiful Malaga, Spain.
As Pablo grew up, he became interested in painting like is father. He rarely paid attention in school and was always drawing.
Pablo, STOP DRAWING AND PAY ATTENTION
At the age of 16, Picasso was accepted into the Royal Academy in Madrid, Spain. He however became bored of the classic curriculum and would wander the streets painting gypsies and beggers.
My first day at Royal Academy! I can't wait.
El Quatre Gats
In 1899, Picasso moved to Barcelona to follow a group of radical artits that inspired him to draw outside the classical ways he was trained. Their headquarters was located at a cafe called "El Quarte Gats"

Picasso went through many stages through out his career based on his access to different colors, his emotional state of mind, and his political agenda. They Included The "Blue Period", "Rose Period", "Cubism", "Classical", and "Surrealism".
Picasso died at age 91 on April 8, 1973.
