Im going to be telling you about India after Guptas.
I don't want to follow your ways!
For hundreds of years, Indian people were buddhists. Some didn't believe in the teachings of buddha which resulted in the split because they wanted to change its ways.
Fine then we will just split!
I'm going to call my way Theravada.
The better name is mine which is mahayana.
Theravada believed they were following buddhism but slightly different.
Mahayana believed Theravada teachings were too strict.
I am a Muslim and I'm new here. I can teach you my religion Islam!
Islam changed their whole way of life, thinking, and future.
There was a big conflict between Muslims and Hindus. Muslim rulers tried to impose many islamic customs on hindu society.
Agriculture was not a source of wealth and since India's location had a good locations, it became a big trade center for people all around the world looking for new items, riches, and knowledge.
