Storyboard Text

  • Shot 7:  Establishing Shot (Night)
  • Shot 8: Doug's Action
  • Shot 9:  Conversation  Close Up (Night)
  • I think we should meet in person sometime this week.
  • Is that alright with you?
  • After the fade mentioned in the previous shot, we  cut to a wide shot of  Doug sleeping,  He continues sleeping until his phone starts to vibrate (indicated by the lines).
  • Shot 10:  Doug's  Reaction Shot
  • We cut to a medium shot of Doug, confused, struggling to get out of bed as he grabs his phone.
  • Shot 11:  Doug begins pacing
  • We  cut to a close up of the conversation started on Doug's phone, similarly to the way we  did in the previous shots
  • Shot 12: Conversation Ends
  • Uh...
  • We cut to a close up of Doug to focus on his emotions. Unlike before, he is clearly worried about meeting with Anne.
  • We  cut  to Doug  pacing back and forth in a wide shot (to focus on his entire body). I also want this shot to be filmed  at a dutch angle, to reinforce the idea that Doug is uncomfortable with  meeting Anne (which is indicated by the reverse  arrows).
  • We cut back to the conversation after Doug's pacing , and follow it until it ends.  The scene ends with Doug slowly putting his phone down and everything fades to black.
  • I think I might be able to make it.
  • Awesome! I can't wait to see you! :)
