  • Through Christ alone will be our first one.
  • In the picture to the left the popes are arguing over who should be pope. In the picture to the right the guy is selling simony and indulgence.

  • Martin Luther was born in 1483 and was one of Western history's most significant figures. He wrote a document attacking the Church and corrupted the selling of indulgence and wrote the '95 theses'.
  • Diet of Worms
  • Here I stand. I cannot do otherwise.
  • Martin Luther wrote the 95 theses and the two main ideas were 1. Selling indulgences to finance the building of St. Peter's is wrong. 2. The pope has no power over Purgatory.
  • German Bible
  • The five solar are: Sola Fide, by faith alone. Sola Scriptura, by Scripture alone,Solus Christus,through Christ alone, Sola Gratia, by grace alone, Soli Deo Gloria, glory to God alone. The first one means 'through grace alone and faith alone'.The second on means 'the inerrant bible is the sole source'.The third one means 'through christ alone to not live a sinful life'. The fourth one means 'we are rescued by god wrath by his grace alone'. The fifth one means 'Gods salvation will be affirmed and has been accomplished by god'.
  • The diet of worms was a teaching Martin Luther taught on his trip to Worms to find the Imperial Diet. His trip was a victory and Luther was welcome to every town he went through. His famous saying was ´Here I stand. I cannot do otherwise´.
  • The German bible was written by Martin Luther or the name he used Junker Jorg. He used the name Junker Jorg and lived incognito in Wartburg. There were many difficult times through his work but he translated to the New Testament by himself.
