The Myth of Hygeia and Hades
This storyboard does not have a description.
Hygeia, the daughter of Asclepius who was killed by Zeus because of Hades, gathers some of the muses to form a plan to get back at Hades.
We need to find a way to get back at Hades and Zeus.
Hygeia knew that she couldn't kill Hades, but she could get him in big trouble with Zeus. If this moral started to release souls from the underworld Hades would have a big problem.
I know we will send a mortal to the underworld!
That's a great idea!
They sent a moral who also had a bone to pick with Hades and her name was Lucy. Hygeia met with Lucy and told her that if she released souls Hades would be killed, Lucy didn't hesitate. So off she went. . .
I'm off to see the underworld. . . da da da da
When she finally made it to the underworld and was about to release her first soul, a young dead girl came up to her and asked her why she was here. . .
I am. . . umm, getting back at Hades, I think?
What are you doing here?
Because she didn't know the real reason she was there she made lots of mistakes. She thought that Hades would die so it didn't matter if he knew who she was so she told almost everyone she met. So Hades found her. . .
So he took her back to the underworld and gave her the punishment of forever serving the person she had wished to kill.
