Billy Weaver talks to the porter after getting off his train, to which the porter tells him to look for the Bell and Dragon to stay in.
When Billy gets to see the sign reading 'Bed and Breakfast', he finds himself strangely charmed and can't help but go ring the bell.
Not even a minute after he rang the door, a woman came to the door, and she gladly welcomed him inside and gave him a room.
As the landlady shows Billy to his room, she explains everything and tells him to stop by the sitting room to sign the guest book.
When Billy was looking at the guestbook, he finds two names that look oddly familiar, and were written over two and three years before.
As the landlady enters the sitting room and talks with Billy, she gives him tea, which strangely tastes like bitter almonds, and he learns that he has been the only customer since the last guy, over two years before.
