  • My two little brothers impact the way I live my life and my culture because they are something that are not usually expected in the Irish catholic culture. My two little brothers are adopted from Guatemala. They have shown me that life is not always traditional. You must gives changes that occur in your life a chance. They may turn out to be one of the best things that ever happened to you. I am so blessed and happy to have my little brothers in my life.
  • It is known that in the Irish Catholic culture, family of very important. I agree with that statement. My family is the most important thing in my life, they teach me new things everyday, and they help me when I fall. Being taught to be close to your family was never difficult for me. I am one of six kids, and I have 30 cousins. My grandfather always told me, "friends may come and go, but family is forever". You only get one family. So it is important to me to make every moment count with them.
  • Faith is something that has been apart of my culture for my entire life. I was taught from a young age that Christ was our savior and that he is the one that I got in time of need. Although I still have a lot to learn, I believe that I can take on anything with the support of my family and my faith. It gives me something to look forward to when my time on the earth is over. I remember when I was younger I used to be scared of what happen when I died, but now I believe that I am going to be OK.
