  • The UDHR envisioned a world in which every human has the right...
  • Trying to make human rights universal as the UDHR has done...
  • (Voice Over - Introduction) Dialogue - TheUniversal Declaration of Human Rights envisioned a world in which every humanhas the right to live free from discrimination, oppression, hunger and violence... Dialogue will all possibly be voice overs. Text maybe incorporated into some of the slides. Different shapes will be used such as circles to present the text.
  • UNITED NATIONS - UDHR REPRESENTS A BROADER CONCENSUS ON HUMAN DIGNITY
  • Dialogue - Despite all the obviously positive goals of the UDHR, there are those who feel that it does not respect diversity... Transitions will be on done on Prezi and we will use zoom in and out. Each slide will transition the same.

  • Dialogue - We argue that human rights are connected to the universal concept of human dignity rather than aspects of culture, and that the UDHR is broad and unbiased enough to be relevant across cultures.

  • Dialogue - “Inthe recent issue of A Global Agenda, Charles Norchi points out that the“Universal Declaration "represents a broader consensus on human dignitythan does any single culture or tradition" (as cited in Ayton-Shenker,1995, p.2).
  • Dialogue - The UDHR has been recognised through the ongoing work of the United Nations as “universal through international law andevery human being is entitled to these universal rights that are not justprivileges”.(Le, 2016)
