  • There’s no doubt that every single person has different beliefs and opinions about how things should be executed. From these ideas and beliefs, two political parties arose: the Federalists and the Democratic Republicans.

  • The above opinions were the most significant ideas and priorities of the Democratic Republicans. As you can see, the two parties had extremely different ideas.

  • Federalist
  • Democratic Republicans
  • In the northern states, big businesses and industries were thriving, and the people who lived there were wealthy and well-educated. Therefore, Federalists believed that only well-educated and wealthy people should lead the nation.
  • Federalists were mostly from the Northern states.
  • Agriculture was a huge priority and focus in the southern states, and most who lived there were everyday people such as plantation farmers. Therefore, Democratic Republicans believed that everyday people should lead the nation.
  • Democratic Republicans were mostly from the Southern states.
  • In conclusion, these two political parties differ immensely, from the values and beliefs of each respective party to the type of people that represent each party. These two political parties arose because everyone had different ideas about how the nation should be run.
  • Everybody has different ideas on how this country should be run.
