  • In this cell, Scrooge's nephew is talking to him about Christmas. Mr. Scrooge thinks Christmas is for chumps because, he has nobody to celebrate with and he's a grumpy old toad.

  • In this cell, Marley is warning Scrooge about the three ghosts and that if he doesnt change he will have to bear the chains of his wrongful acts

  • The ghost is symbolizing a guide to scrooge's past
  • Theme
  • Scrooge is brought to the past to when he was a child and he notices how he had an imagination and being happy and having friends. And now, he's not the same.
  • Scrooge is confused because he's been so cruel to the Cratchit family yet, Bob, toasts to him.
  • Scrooge learns to be nice to everyone around him. He learned this because he saw his past, present, and future, and if he didn't change, bad things would happen to everyone including himself.
