  • Ala al-Din's "uncle" comes to his house and offers to help show Ala al-Din around the market.
  • It is Ala al-Din! Son of my long lost brother Mustafa! I will help hime make money for your family.
  • The uncle traps Ala al-Din in an underground tunnel when Ala al-Din refuses to bring him his magical lamp. But, all of a sudden Ala al-Din rubs his ring and a huge creature comes out of the ring.
  • I want to return home to my mother.
  • I am the slave of the ring and to anyone who holds it! What do you want master?
  • Ala al-Din asks the slave of the ring for platters to give to the king, and then sends his mother to ask the king for the princess' hand in marriage . The king says yes, so Ala al-Din and Badr al-Budur marry.
  • Finally! The magical lamp is mine!
  • The evil uncle disguises himself as a merchant looking for the lamp and claiming he has a new deal of old lamps for new lamps. Badr al-Budur finds the magical lamp and gives it to the "uncle.
  • Old lamps for new lamps!
  • Here is an old lamp that Ala al-Din never uses.
  • Here it is! The palace nine hundred ninety nine windows, and the evil uncle who kidnapped my beautiful Badr al-Budur. We must stop him!
  • Your wish of being taken to the palace is now granted sir.
  • Badr al-Budur gives the uncle a sleeping potion, and Ala al-Din and Badr al -Budur escape home to live a long and happy life together.
  • Let me comb your hair, uncle.
  • Quick, give him this sleeping potion and we can escape!
