Caused by Henry Wriz the commander of Andersonville prison
Andersonville killed thousands of soldiers and tortured them all.So spread the word and protest.So this never happens again.
In an area originally meant for only 10,000 prisoners. Andersonville got up to the extreme numbers of 33,000 men at one time.This caused more death do too over population.
There´s not enough space

1000 of men dead because of Andersonville prison.The north protested because of that.It hurt the nation in that 13000 men died at an estimate
