Storyboard Text

  • We crashed, this is not good!
  • Ralph has crashed on a random island, along with some others. Piggy said "We was attacked! That's how we got here!" (Golding 8) It shows how they got to the island and what happened.
  • Some people are dead, I'm scared.
  • They needed to make a fire to be seen, and rescued. Ralph said "Will you light the fire?" (Golding 40) This shows they were scared and worried if they could even start a fire.
  • Hey, let's use Piggy's glasses to make a fire!
  • I hope nothing bad happens to my glasses...
  • Ralph and Piggy build shelter, while Jack hunts. " We need meat! who cares about shelter." Said Jack. (Golding 50) This shows they are worried about having shelter, and food.
  • Sorry, but we need them! Help?!
  • You guys are building houses when we need meat! We need to survive!
  • Jack sets out to kill a pig, to get food. Who has the fire? Ralph is not happy. " Come on! I'll creep up and stab. Forget the fire." (Golding 64) This shows Jack only cares about hunting and nothing else. Jack is worried about being found.
  • What about the fire though?
  • I finally got a pig!
  • "The world, that understandable and lawful world, was slipping away." (Golding 84) The little un's were shifting away from the group. This shows the carelessness and fear in the little kids.
  • YOU WILL CONTINUE TO DO YOUR WORK!
  • We no longer work for you!
  • The kids have fallen asleep and let the fire go out. This is not good, when they wake up they find a surprise. War had been near. "Even the sounds of nightmare from other shelters no longer reached him, he was back to where he came from." (Golding 89) This shows the war zone the boys left and are scared.
  • Oh no!
  • We need to tell the others
