Jose took the opportunity to teach others about the chamoru culture. He taught cultural dance to his peers who came from a variety of ethnic groups. They appreciated his unique culture.
He also told his peers about Guam's beautiful beaches. He informed them that although they have buildings and restaurants now, the chamorus relied solely on the water and the land for survival in the past.
Jose's classmates appreciated his unique culture and even wanted to visit the island of Guam. The students raised enough funds so that they were able to travel to Guam together.
