  •                   Inciting Inccident
  • What was that?
  •   Rising Action
  •                             His car started. How? He must be an alien.
  • That proves nothing.
  • The setting is Maple Street, USA in a family neighborhood with men, women, and children.
  •                                              Climax
  • Die alien, die!
  • All of a sudden there was a flash of light in the sky and a loud roaring sound. The people were puzzled.
  •                      Falling Action
  • You are an alien.
  • No you are!
  • These humans just turn on each other. They do most of the work in destroying themselves.
  • The power goes out and people start to worry. Tommy predicts aliens are to blame while Mr. Goodman's car starts by itself.
  •                                          Resolution
  •    Charlie shoots Pete Van Horn because he think he is the ''monster.'' The people are outraged.
  • As a result people start accusing each other about who is really a monster/alien. Fighting occurs, and the neighborhood destroys itself.
  •         Figure 1 and figure 2, looking down on Maple Street say that mankind does most of the work in destroying itself. People are quick to turn on eachother.
