King Luis locked out the Third Estate of the meeting hall. The three estates include the 1st(clergy), 2nd(nobles), 3rd(commoners). So the commoners decided to make a plan.
The Third Estate started to have their own meetings on the tennis courts. There they decided to make an oath called the "Tennis Court Oath". This was signed by 576 out of the 577 people
The King called a meeting and told them to stop meeting in the tennis courts. Then the third estate returned with the second and first estate who agreed with them. The three estates were back in line and the Constitution of france was soon signed after that.
