Three Faiths One Friendship
One day, three friends Thomas, Jason, and Parpar were hanging out at a park when an unusual topic arose. The topic happened to be about their individual faiths and why each of them are friends to begin with if they all believe in different things. Because they haven't been friends for very long, they all thought it would be a good idea to teach one another and learn about their different faiths.
Each thought of something that they wanted everyone to share about one another's religion. Thomas wanted to discuss the different practices within each religion. Jason wanted to talk about their individual beliefs, and Parpar wanted to talk about each person's prayer life. They thought by doing this, hopefully, they would find the answer to why they even have a friendship.
Thomas began the conversation, "I am a Christian. I wear a necklace with a cross on it because it represents my faith. My Sabbath Day, or holy day, is Sunday and I go to Church every week." Jason continued and said, "I am Jewish. I wear this hat on my head called a Kipa because it represents my faith. My holy day is Saturday and we call it Shabbat"
It was Parpars turn to speak, "I am a Hindu believer. My physical appearance consists of a Sherwani, which is a piece of clothing that goes right down to my knees. And you guys might not believe me, but us Hindu people don't really have a holy day. We worship whenever we please." "Wow that really cool!", said Thomas.
Before they could continue, it started raining. So they decided to run as fast as they could to Thomas' house out of the rain so they could get themselves dry.
