The Embargo act is now passed!
Impressment was an action where British sailors, would seized American sailors, and soldiers boats for abandoning British navy.
British sailors that had already seized American boats, would transport American prisoners to another British boat to be brought to Britain, while other sailors searched for more American boats.
America responded to impressment, by placing the Embargo act. This act prevented America trading with any foreign country's, witch in result actually affected America more negatively.
