the poem written by Edgar Allan Poe
Lynn Kim Period.2
In dreary night of December, the narrator is sitting on the chair at his chamber door.
The narrator misses his dead wife, Lenore and is trying to forget her by reading.
Then, the raven came into the chamber.
" A grand raven stepped inside, like something from an old tale."
The narrator wonders how this bird is able to speak and wants this bird to be gone tomorrow.
"The raven, sitting alone on the quiet statue, said only one word as if it had poured out his soul in that one word."
After some conversations with the raven, the narrator gets mad because he couldn't find the way he can forget Lenore.
"Go back to the shores of hell and leave me alone!"
